Night Snorkeling

Night snorkeling is an activity that can be practiced by all members of the family. All it takes is the basic snorkel gear and a flashlight. Akumal bay is the perfect setting to do a night snorkel tour. Its sheltered shallow and warm waters make it a delightful and safe experience.

The coral seems much more alive and colorful during night time. This is because at night is when it feeds; and corals do so by extending their polyps to catch the plankton. By watching them under our light, we restore the natural colors that are not even visible during daytime!
