7-Figure Horses at F-T for White Lotus

Whie Lotus sales had a night to remember on Monday at Fasig-Tipton, with three horses selling for seven figures, one of which was the second highest hip of the night, Love and Pride, who came back to White Lotus Farm under new ownership. Previously owned by Green Hills Farm, Love and Pride's pedigree reads like royalty. At the time of the sale she is in-foal to Distorted Humor and was being consigned by White Lotus Farm on behalf of her owner. It was Goncalo Torrealba who bid aggressively and purchased her for a final hammer price of $4.9 million.

Just a few hips later, two-time Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint Champion Mizdirection came up from the Three Chimneys consignment barn and entered the ring to cheers and applause. It didn't take long for the bidding to escalate and by the time it was done she had sold for $2.7 million to Al Shaqab Racing, one of the up and coming stables globally. It was our last hip of the evening that provided our third million dollar sale, when Breeders' Cup Distaff runner and Grade 2 winner Authenticity sold to Stonestreet Farm for $1.2 million. All in all, White Lotus sold five horses at the Fasig-Tipton November Sale for an average of $1,935,000.
